Bruce Ko

A graduate in mechanical engineering at Clemson University, Bruce Ko joined the Flagship team in 2014 after developing his skills as a real estate agent for over 7 years. Bruce’s interest in real estate was born when he began acquiring a number of investment properties, and he quickly realized the risks and pitfalls of going it alone. Remembering the experience of building his own property portfolio he says “I made a lot of mistakes, and I want to make sure others don’t make the same mistakes.”

Today Bruce specializes in personally owned commercial property, and he’s deeply passionate about helping clients explore new avenues of income generation to truly capitalize on the value of their properties. The strength he brings to the Flagship team comes from his extensive experience on the other side of the table, buying and selling his own properties, an experience that has allowed him to develop the deep insight and degree of empathy an agent needs to understand exactly how the client feels. Speaking about what drives him to go above and beyond to help his clients, Bruce says “I find solutions as if I was in the situation.”

When he isn’t giving his all to help his clients bring out the value in their properties Bruce is an active member of the Greenville community. He serves at Brookwood Church and the Korean Association, and volunteers his time to help a number of local charity events. In his free time he enjoys playing golf, and can often be found at Memorial Stadium cheering on the Tigers of his beloved alma mater.

Bruce’s extraordinary determination and drive are evident to every client who has ever had the good fortune to work with him, but perhaps his enthusiasm for his work is best put across in his own words: “It’s not about what you get. It’s about what you GIVE.”
