J. Caldwell Johnston – Commercial Agent

A native of Greenville SC, Caldwell Johnston is a 2000 graduate of the University of South Carolina where he double majored in Marketing and Management with a minor in Real Estate Development.

Upon graduation, Caldwell relocated to Wyoming as professional fly fishing guide. In 2005, he returned to Greenville and began his real estate career in The Upstate. Several years later, Caldwell and small group of local investors saw an opportunity to take advantage of the 2012 election cycle and successfully launched an internet startup focused on blending social media and politics.

Recently, Caldwell joined the Commercial Division of Flagship Properties as a Sales and Leasing
Broker. Although he has experienced life in various states and regions, including California, Wyoming, Connecticut, and Florida, his heart has never been far from Greenville. Both Caldwell and his wife Mary Claytor, also a Greenville native, have witnessed Greenville’s growth into a vibrant, diverse community, and are excited to be raising a family in their hometown. This firsthand knowledge gives Caldwell a unique perspective of the present commercial market and the potential future growth and direction of Greenville.
