Joshua C. Tew – Vice President, Commercial Division

A native of Western North Carolina and proud Upstate resident, Josh is a graduate of Clemson University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Prior to joining Flagship Properties in 2012, Josh gained experience in geotechnical and materials engineering, and held a position as a project manger for a nationwide commercial general contractor.

Josh obtained his MBA with an emphasis in real estate development from Clemson in 2014. He served as a Senator in Graduate Student Government, Vice President of the MBA Student Association and President of the MBA Student Association.

In his time at Flagship Properties, Josh has been involved in numerous commercial transactions, ultimately gaining experience representing buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants and investors. He has experience managing properties for clients and coordinating improvements and renovations to increase ROI. As Vice President of Flagship Properties’ Commercial Division, Josh’s goal is to create value for clients by astutely managing their real estate needs.

Josh has been actively involved in Flagship Property’s sister company, The Office Centers, and now serves in a business development role. Josh was instrumental in establishing and maintaining high tenant occupancy at the company’s four executive suites locations. During the first year of Josh’s involvement in the company, occupancy at the 30,000 square-foot Merovan Office Center was increased by over 30%. Occupancy at other locations was increased and stabilized at over 90%.

Josh presently serves on the Clemson University Alumni Council and is President of the MBA Alumni Council. He is involved in Pulse, the Greenville Chamber’s young professionals organization, and is presently serving on the Advisory Council and as Chair of the Talent Committee. He is an avid snow skier, enjoys the occasional hunting and fishing trip and has competed in several triathlons.
